There's no business like snow business!

Yep, it is snowing again in London today. I say again, but really it is the 2nd time this winter. It doesn't really settle here in town (on the ground anyway) so it is jsut sludge, but it is really nice out by home. Very pretty along the river and all that!

The office is half empty, and the trains were pretty empty today. Well mine was anyway. It does seem as though there were problems on almost all of the other train lines though. It is kind of funny, but kind of annoying that the trains stop running if it snows, rains, is too windy or is too sunny! Luckily i have a few different ways to get to work - or perhaps unluckily. My boss isn't coming in today as his car is snowed in.

Hmm, so what else has been going on? Work is ticking along. Slowly getting things sorted ... or something. It just requires another period of adjustment ... got used to working one way, and now that is changing slightly. But am making progess, and enjoying it so it is all good!

Am getting organised for the US trip. Tickets are all sorted, as are most of the hotels. Just sorting out the last few things, and then it is just counting the days - 5 weeks to be exact ;)

Dad is arriving for his travels the day before I leave, I think, so that will make the last minute packing I will no doubt be doing a little more last minute ... but it will be good!

Oh, in other travel news, looks like I am heading to Egypt in June for a week or so. Friends from Wellington are getting married in Cairo, and a bunch of us are going to go for a cruise down the Nile. At least that is the plan.

Then it will be summer - and i will just about be out of leave, with 3/4 of the leave year still to go, but will be worth it ;)
