Finally ... sorted

Right, so after much stuffing round by Lee's work, it seems that we have finally got all accommodation and stuff sorted for the US trip! Whoo-hoo! Can stop thinking about accommodation and all that sort of stuff, and just get on with looking forward to the trip! it is going to be great!
I think packing is going to be interesting as it will be cold in New York, but significantly warmer in LA and that side of the country. Still, I figure I can shop for what I don't take with me.

And in other exciting news, I have been sick! But in between bouts of illness, I have managed to check out the Museum of London - which is what it sounds like - a museum about the history of London. Quite interesting, and a good thing to do on a less than nice day!

Also managed to take in a show - 'Dancing in the Streets'. It was fabulous .... basically a celebration of Motown that had everyone dancing in the aisle. Would totally recommend it!

Also managed to cram in leaving drinks for one the boys from work. All good - as it was held at a brazilian bar, so good cocktails, and excellent music!
